A machine no longer works? Or a tool, for example a hoe, is broken?
These things happen. It is important that you tell the foreman or the boss immediately. The boss is not allowed to take money from you if a tool is broken.
Information on repairing machines and devices
Broken machines or devices must be repaired. This way, no one will get hurt. Keep these points in mind when you go to see why something is broken.
You may only carry out repairs yourself if you have discussed them with your foreman or supervisor. Important: Switch off the machine before starting repairs!
Switch off the machine or device first.
There must be no electricity and the engine must not be running.
Remove the ignition key from vehicles.
Tell the foreman or boss if a machine is broken. The boss needs to know. He organises the repair.
